Indian Summer

Those of you who have been following my travels know that we recently moved to Manhattan after 6 years in Turks and Caicos. That’s right; we have not experienced cold weather in 6 years. Last week when it was in the 50s I was freezing.

At this moment it is 80 degrees and sunny in NYC. This is what we used to call Indian Summer, the last warm days before the cold of winter. I am actually considering buying some CozyWinters.com heated clothing for myself, because the thought of temperatures below freezing just horrifies me to no end. But I do have new winter coats, boots, hats, scarves, and gloves, so I think I will be fine.

But for now, I am enjoying! We take daily walks around our neighborhood (made somewhat more stressful by the Occupy Wall Street protestors) and have the perfect view from our 22nd floor windows.
